I’m not one who often takes notes in church but I happen to this past Sunday and thought I’d share them.

~Wisdom is peace loving~

“Fools think their own way is right,
      but the wise listen to others.  A fool is quick-tempered,
      but a wise person stays calm when insulted.” Proverbs 12:15-16

~Wisdom is submissive~

{i missed the verse for this one so i found a different verse i thought portrays the message.}

“Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.”

1 Peter 2:13-15

~Wisdom is full of mercy~

“He who covers over an offense promotes love,
       but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.”

Proverbs 17:9

~Wisdom is impartial & sincere~

“He who conceals his sins does not prosper,
       but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”

Proverbs 28: 13

“A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.”

Proverbs 29:1

“In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

Colossians 2:3

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
       all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
       To him belongs eternal praise.”

Psalm 111:10
